These are some of the pictures that I took of the new shopping arcade that replaced the old South Parade shops. I walked from South Parade down Central Avenue, passing the site of the central avenue school ,long since demolished.  I carried on walking across the roundabout at Central and Western Avenues and continued down Tewithall Road and onto AllSaints Road passing the church woodlands which have now thinned out considerably.  I visited the churchyard and spoke to the sister of Eric Wright and her hubby. They were visiting Eric's grave site.  I continued up Gerneth Road Passing the Crescent Shops and Gerneth Close and ended my walkabout there.  A pleasant afternoon.
